Typically your first contact with FIT is through the licensing and frequency coordination process. FIT prepares and certifies our clients FCC two-way radio applications prior to sending them to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This process is required by the FCC and assures that the application meets all requirements for location, power, frequency type of use and many other regulations. Additionally, FIT assigns the best possible channels for the applicant’s use in the area. FIT then tracks the license through the FCC’s servers and follows up on all required notifications. Once issued, your FCC two-way radio license is subject to meeting specific deadlines for notice of construction, renewals and for compliance with new changes in FCC regulations.

FIT monitors all of our members licenses for compliance with these and other issues. We function as your advocate when dealing with the Commission and are poised to take action on whatever regulatory issue may come your way. Our experienced staff is at your disposal. And if, you do receive one of those “scary” letters from FCC “look alike” agencies, FIT will review the document and take any necessary, appropriate steps, often at no charge or at a reduced fee.
